Almond Milk

Almond Milk is a great alternative to Cows Milk! I recommend you try Almond Milk it is incredibly delicious and you can add it to oatmeals, smoothies, or use it as substitute in any dessert recipes. Almonds are one of the healthiest nuts and is filled with Vitamin E, Calcium, and Magnesium which builds strong bones.



1 cup Organic Almonds
31/2 cups Filtered Water
3 Organic Dates (or more depending on taste)
1/4 tsp Organic Cinnamon (optional)
Pinch of Celtic Sea Salt

Note: Sometimes I also like to add 1 Vanilla Bean to my Almond Milk. This also enhances the flavor.

This recipe does take a little longer then others since you will need to soak the almonds overnight in some water. So place 1 cup of almonds in a bowl and cover with water you can either soak them overnight or for about 8 hours. Next place the almonds in an immersion blender with 31/2 cups water, 3 dates, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Blend for 2-3 minutes or until smooth. Once its blended pour the milk into a Nut Milk Bag and squeeze all the liquid out of the bag. And thats it! Thats all you need to do in order to make Almond Milk it is really quite simple it just takes some time to make.
